WHAT IS THE PROCESS FOR ORDERING A CUSTOM DRESS?

Ordering a custom dress is a fun experience at Linda Asaf Design. Our clients are involved every step of the way so there are no surprises. The process begins with an initial consultation where Linda spends time getting to you and your own personal style. We then create fashion concepts based on your input. Once you select a style, we develop a pattern and mockup for you to try on. The mockup allows you to see how the dress will look on you. It is your opportunity to make any changes to the design as well as our opportunity to fine tune the fit. From there, we make the actual dress and work with you through a series of fittings until you walk out with a dress that is perfectly fit and perfectly you.

HOW MUCH DOES A CUSTOM DRESS COST?
Our custom wedding gowns average $2,500 but can range between $1,200 to over $5,000 depending on the complexity of the design and cost of the materials used. Recommendations can also be made to accommodate your budget.

Bridesmaid and Prom dresses range between $275 and $500 for customizing existing styles. A new design can range between $600 to $1,200 depending on the complexity and materials. We are happy to make recommendations based on your budget and alterations are included.

HOW LONG WITH MY CUSTOM DRESS TAKE TO COMPLETE?
Bridal gowns usually take 3 to 4 months from start to finish. Our goal is to deliver the finished garment one month in advance of the event date whenever possible.

A cocktail dress may only take 3 to 4 weeks to complete especially if it is a design we already feature in our collection. We do encourage clients to start the process as early as possible to allow ample time for any unforeseen delays as well as rush charges.

ARE YOUR BRIDESMAID DRESSES CUSTOM?
We offer custom colors and fabrics at ready-to-wear price which are cut in standard sizes. We do however take bridesmaids measurements to determine what size they are in our collection.

CAN I BUY A READY MADE DRESS AT YOUR STORE?
Yes! We have finished garments for sale in my showroom including cocktail, prom, bridesmaid, and some bridal gowns.

CAN I ORDER A MATCHING VEIL FOR MY CUSTOM WEDDING GOWN?

WHEN IS YOUR SHOWROOM OPEN? DO I NEED AN APPOINTMENT?
The showroom is open Thursday-Saturday, 12-6PM. We are also available Monday-Wednesday by appointment by calling 512.619.3303.
